Elizabeth R. Minkin (Buffy) is the Director of Baltimore and Domestic Initiatives of the Joseph and Harvey Meyerhoff Family Charitable Funds, a group of Baltimore-based family foundations with local, national and international impact. Buffy, a fourth generation Meyerhoff family member, is part of a three-member management team that oversees the family’s grant making, strategy and next generation work. Buffy spent more than twelve years in the real estate industry; first in residential construction and development and most recently in commercial brokerage services. She is active in both the Jewish and secular Baltimore communities and has held leadership roles in a variety of organizations. In addition, she has received several awards for her leadership in the Baltimore Jewish community. Currently, Buffy is a board member of Jewish Community Services and an active lay leader in both her children’s schools.
