Prior to joining Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors in 1992, Shermane served for five years as Grants & Program Manager/Assistant to the Director of Long Island University’s Institute for the Advancement of Mathematics and Science, a National Science Foundation-funded middle school math and science teacher training institute.
