Family foundation boards are expected to see a period of unprecedented change over the next few years, with a new generation of philanthropists poised to take over leadership roles. NCFP’s 2015 Trends Study found that 56% of family foundations currently engage younger family members in the foundation’s work, and more than 40% of all boards expect to add next gen family members in the next four years. In an increasingly interconnected world, it’s more important than ever that we provide emerging philanthropic leaders with a variety of networking opportunities and resources to allow them to effectively address some of the most pressing social issues. This month’s webinar will feature a conversation with several national organizations actively engaging young philanthropists in a variety of innovative ways, including the Nexus Global Youth SummitResource GenerationEmerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, and Youth Philanthropy Connect.
