This year, Ellie Frey Zagel is chairing the committee dedicated to producing Trends 2020, a follow-up to the 2015 survey. Trends 2020 includes new questions relevant to ongoing changes in the field including issues of equity, place-based giving, transparency, the role of the donor, and the question of spend down versus perpetuity.

National Center for Family Philanthropy Board Chair Katherine Lorenz shares our exciting plans for 2019.
Virginia Esposito, founder and president of the National Center for Family Philanthropy, will transition to a new role as Senior Fellow at the end of 2019, NCFP announced today. Ms. Esposito has led the philanthropy nonprofit organization since its creation in 1997.
