Youth Leadership Team member, Greater Houston Community Foundation; co-founder, Asian American Youth Giving Circle

Ashton Kao is a sophomore Varsity Rugby Player at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. Ashton has been with the Greater Houston Community Foundation Youth Leadership Team for four years, and has always had a passionate drive to help his community. He as well leads other giving circles; being the cofounder of the Asian American Youth Giving Circle and the Awesome Fund. Every summer you can find Ashton donating laptops away to refugee college students in need, and paid for out of his own pocket. Refugees, being the target area Ashton likes to emphasize with him having first generation immigrant parents.
